12/3/13 - 'Holiday Crawl' adds to local holiday activities
This year’s Hometown Holidays will offer a new opportunity for Veronans to explore local businesses in addition to the classic events the weekend has been known for.
The event always includes a chili supper, the lighting of the Christmas tree and children’s activities on Friday night, but other events have varied from year to year.

11/27/13 - Chamber puts out call for spending ideas
If the Verona Area Chamber of Commerce could do anything it wanted with hotel tax revenue, it would never have to hold fundraisers.

11/21/13 - Chamber takes over Hometown Days
Two years after the Verona Area Chamber of Commerce turned down the opportunity to take over Hometown Days, the organization has decided it’s now up to the task.
The new chamber-led group will take the reins of Verona’s 40-year-old summertime festival from Brava Enterprises, which resurrected it after the volunteer organization that had run it since the 1970s dissolved in October 2011.

11/8/13 - Chamber Presents Food Pantry Donation
Earlier this morning Verona Area Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Karl Curtis presented Karen Fletcher of the Verona Area Needs Network Food Pantry with a donation of $2,060. The Funds were raised at the Chamber's Wine and Dine event in October. Thank you again to everyone who helped to make this event a smashing success!

Distillery Dinner at Pasqual's
December 12 - Pasqual's is pleased to present the Avion Distillery Dinner on Thursday, December 12th, 2013 at 6:30pm in their private tequila room. It will be a memorable evening of delicious food and amazing drinks. Four course dinner will be served paired with unique cocktails featuring Avion. Tequila tasting will be presented by the Avion brand ambassador.
