 The mission of the Verona Area Chamber of Commerce is to proactively promote, support and enhance economic growth and community well-being. The Chamber wears many hats - economic developer and planner, tourist information center, business spokesperson, economic counselor, referral service and more.Some of the objectives of the Chamber are to help business prosper and grow, to increase job opportunities, to contribute to the overall economic stability of the community, and to promote tourism. Each year it sponsors or plays a part in dozens of events, programs, forums and services. The Chamber contributes to such local events as the Holiday Tree Lighting Ceremony, Spin the Wheel at Hometown Days, Ironman Wisconsin and others. New businesses are welcomed to the city by celebrating grand openings and ribbon cuttings. The Chamber publishes the official Verona area map, the annual Membership Directory and Community Guide, and a complete calendar of local events. It has also spearheaded the procurement of high-visible "Welcome to Verona" banners along Main Street and Verona Avenue. The Chamber hosts a seminar series of five meetings that address topics that are of interest to members. During mayoral election years, the Chamber sponsors a mayor-candidate question and answer session. Those who enjoy networking and socializing with other members will enjoy the Chamber's annual golf outing and annual meeting.  The Verona Area Chamber of Commerce is an active, energetic, enthusiastic group thanks to its professional staff, its quality board of directors and scores of member volunteers. New members become part of a group of over 300 members who have pledged to make Verona a strong and vibrant community.When you join the Chamber, it becomes your Chamber too.
