Its mission is to proactively promote, support and enhance economic growth and community well being. Barry Alvarez to be Keynote Speaker at Chamber Annual Meeting posted by admin

Barry Alvarez, University of Wisconsin Athletic Director, will be the keynote speaker at the Verona Area Chamber of Commerce Annual Meeting being held Thursday, February 16, 2012 at The Heights Event Center, 411 Prairie Heights Dr., Verona. Beginning at 5 pm with hors d'oeuvres, a cash bar and networking, the meeting and recognitions will be held at 6:10 pm. The keynote presentation will take place at 6:45 pm and a raffle prize giveaway follows at 7:45 pm. Tickets are $25 per person for Chamber members, employees and guests. Seating is limited. Tickets will be available starting February 1. For reservations, send a check to Verona Area Chamber of Commerce, P.O. Box 930003, Verona, WI 53593 or pay online by using the Members Section tab at the top of this page on the right.

All-Member Meeting: Quick Response Codes and Smart Phone Know-How posted by admin

The January All-Member meeting, sponsored by Focus Strategic Solutions, is scheduled for Thursday, January 26 beginning at 7:30 a.m. in the basement Community Room of State Bank of Cross Plains. The event will begin with announcements and networking activities before the floor is turned over to Sue Ann Kaestner from The Widget Source who will educate us about “Quick Response Codes and Smart Phone Know How.” The meeting will conclude with a door prize drawing. Refreshments will also be available. An RSVP is not necessary to attend the All-Member Meeting, but if you know you will be attending and can send a reply to kcurtis@veronawi.com it will help the organizers to plan for snacks and seating.
